Enrichment and Extra-Curricular Activities
After school clubs
We offer children the opportunity to participate in after school clubs. Clubs differ depending on the time of year and include Netball, Creative Movement, Multi-skills, Gardening, Running, Sewing Club, Hockey, Choir and Art and also Federation Netball and Football clubs.
Residential visits
These are aimed at Key Stage 2 children. Residentials are run with the other Dartmoor Federation primary schools. Children are offered an outward bound residential for Year 4 and 5 and a separate year 6 residential.
Music lessons
Piano, singing and guitar are offered at Exbourne Primary. We have music teachers who deliver lessons during school time. Details are available from the School Office, but all payments and arrangements must be made directly with the teacher.
OCRA PE
The children attend a variety of sporting festivals throughout the year within the Okehampton Learning Community organised by OCRA. A timetable of events can be seen on the Parent's Information tab.
Forest Schools
Forest Schools is offered to all of our children throughout the academic year using the woodland area at our playing field. During these sessions children develop teamwork skills as well as individual skills, through activities such as animal shelter building, nature hunts, art and simply exploring and enjoying outdoor learning.
